The Clinical Safety & Effectiveness (CS&E) course was established by UT System with the goal of providing faculty and staff with the tools needed to initiate and maintain change. The purpose of the CS&E course is to provide healthcare professionals and staff with the skills and knowledge required to lead Quality Improvement (QI) projects and change initiatives. The course emphasizes the use of a systematic process to assess the current process/state; determine the root cause of problems; and explore, test, and deploy solutions to make sustainable improvements.
