Robert Jaquiss
Robert D.B. Jaquiss, M.D.
Dr. Jaquiss has practiced congenital heart surgery for 20 years. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt Medical School and did all of his post-graduate training at Washington University School of Medicine. He was formerly Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the Duke University School of Medicine and Chief of Congenital Heart Surgery at Duke Children’s Hospital. He is now Professor of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and hold the Pogue Distinguished Chair in Pediatric Cardiac Surgical Research. He has extensive experience in conducting clinical research, with a particular focus on neonatal heart surgery as well as optimizing mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation for children.
