Jeremey Walker, MD

I am an associate professor in Infectious Diseases at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Clinically I work with immune-compromised patients and direct the Transplant ID program. My joy comes from education and I have the privilege of working with learners from UME through GME. Within UME I direct the Medicine Clerkship and serve in a mentorship role for a learning community. Within GME I support numerous resident and fellow conferences and our Transplant ID Fellowship and Curriculum. Within education I enjoy game-based learning and specifically have worked to integrate gamification in various spaces.
