Rory Nicolaides, MD

Rory Nicolaides, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general pediatric allergies, seasonal allergies, food allergies, drug allergies, eczema, hives (urticaria), insect allergies, and asthma.
Dr. Nicolaides earned her medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UT Southwestern, where she also received advanced training through a fellowship in pediatric allergy and immunology.
Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020.
Dr. Nicolaides is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics; the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; the Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society; the Texas Medical Association; and the Dallas County Medical Society. She also serves on the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology’s Adverse Reactions to Foods Committee.
She has delivered several presentations, contributed to the book Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis (FPIES): Diagnosis and Management, and published numerous academic articles and case reports related to her areas of expertise.
