Sanjay Chandrasekaran, Assistant Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology
Sanjay Chandrasekaran is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW). Dr. Chandrasekaran treats cancer patients with sarcomas and cutaneous malignancies and has a research interest in cancer immunotherapy-based clinical trials.
Prior to joining UTSW, Sanjay was an American Board of Internal Medicine Physician-Scientist pathway Fellow in Hematology and Oncology at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and was the 2020 recipient of the ECOG-ACRIN Paul Carbone, MD Fellowship Award. He received his BA in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and MD degree from the University of Washington.
