Samer Al Hadidi, MD, MS, FACP

Samer Al Hadidi, M.D., M.S., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in hematology and oncology, with an emphasis on plasma cell disorders, including multiple myeloma and light chain amyloidosis, and cellular therapies, including CAR T-cell therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Dr. Al Hadidi earned his medical degree at the University of Jordan School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University. He received advanced training through a hematology and oncology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He also holds a master’s degree in clinical research and statistical analysis from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.
Dr. Al Hadidi is the Clinical Director of the Amyloidosis Program at UT Southwestern. He also serves as Leader of the Fellows’ Plasma Cell Disorders Clinic. He is nationally recognized as an expert in treating multiple myeloma and utilizing cellular therapies for plasma cell disorders.
