Christine Liu MD FAAFP is an assistant professor in Family Medicine at UT Southwestern.  Medical training: Tulane SOM, In His Image Family Practice Residency, UT Dell (then UTSW) Obstetrics Fellowship. Most of her career has been in academic medicine or in providing whole-person care to the underserved both domestically and abroad. She worked for several years abroad with Samaritan's Purse in East Asia, teaching at an international FM program, leading disaster relief teams, practicing rural and inner-city medicine, and starting a clinic for victims of trafficking. Upon returning to the US, she continued in academic medicine and then transitioned to charity care in the DFW area.  After a few years in private practice, Dr. Liu returned to her true passion again---her love for the underserved and residents.
