Priya Nori, MD
<p>Dr. Priya Nori is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) and Orthopedic Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She serves as Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) and Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy program (OPAT). She is also co-chair of the Systems Antimicrobial Council of the Montefiore Health System and Physician Lead of the Montefiore COVID-19 Outpatient Therapeutics Program.</p><p>She serves as chair of the Infectious Diseases Society of America’s (IDSA) Subcommittee for Antimicrobial Stewardship Curricula, chair of the SHEA Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, and co-chaired the SHEA stewardship certificate track, 2019-2022. She is also Deputy Editor of Antimicrobial Stewardship and Healthcare Epidemiology, the SHEA open access online journal as well as Clinical Infectious Diseases Photoquiz co-editor. Under her leadership, Montefiore’s ASP was awarded the IDSA’s Stewardship Center of Excellence distinction in 2018 and 2022. She is also course director of IDSNY’s pre-meeting workshop on stewardship, infection prevention, and hospital epidemiology. She was awarded ID fellowship “teacher of the year” in 2015, the Department of Medicine “rising star” award in 2017, the "Sharon Silbiger Subspecialist Teacher of the Year" award in 2020, and the March 2022 IDSA Medical Education Community of Practice's Featured Educator. </p><p> </p>
