Purpose and Content
Physicians, fellows, and residents specializing in hematologic malignancies, radiation oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine, hematopathology, clinical research, and data management gather on a weekly basis to discuss complex cases of various types of lymphomas, leukemias and plasma cell disorders from the inpatient and outpatient settings. Representatives of radiology, pathology, and hematology-oncology present scans, slides, and pertinent literature to justify diagnoses, staging, and therapy lines. These presentations may prompt discussion of new assessment and treatment protocols to be established. Personnel from CRO may also present updates on current and upcoming clinical research trials.

Targeted towards Physicians, fellows, and residents specializing in hematologic malignancies, radiation oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine, hematopathology, clinical research, and data management.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
Determine the proper management of the patient population based on the presented cases
Review and discuss the impact of recent literature on patient care
Incorporate the advancements in the care of Hematological Malignancies treatments
Utilize the updates on research and new research protocols in treatment of patients.
Evaluate radiology scans and predict/apply patient outcome and treatment
Educational Method
Formal case presentations can include 5-15 cases per week which are chosen by MD. Those cases should be presented by MD, fellow, or resident 5 minutes per case.
