1) to learn briefly about the history of public hospitals in this country

2) to learn about the role of Parkland Health and how it serves the Dallas County Community,

3) to understand the neurology services lines (including inpatient and outpatient services) and expansion of services in the last decade at Parkland Hospital

4) to gain a further appreciation of the role the Department of Neurology plays at Parkland hospital
