Purpose and Content

Slide presentation to educate clinical staff of their roles in safety procedures, processes and activities within the facility and campus.

Target Audience

This program is appropriate for physicians and other health care providers involved in the care and treatment of patients in a hospital or other healthcare facility.

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. State their role in an emergency on campus.
2. Recognize physical and behavioral emergencies situations.
3. Explain culture migration concepts and one factor to prevent it.
4. Review the policies for emergency situations, including Active Shooter procedures.
