Ashley Boothe, MS, APRN, FNP-C
Ashley Boothe, MS, APRN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-C is a dual certified AGACNP and FNP she earned her Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing from Texas Woman’s University in 2009 and later pursued her Master of Science with a major in nursing in a Family Nurse Practitioner program from Texas Woman’s University in 2014. She went on to earn her post-master's certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2021. She is happily married and has two beautiful girls and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She spent her first few years as a Nurse Practitioner practicing in private practice family medicine. She later joined an academic center where she pursued a role in the ambulatory setting in vascular surgery. After earning her AGACNP certification she joined the inpatient neurosurgery division where she currently practices. She is actively involved in several different committees at her academic institution where she serves as the chair of the Advanced Practice Provider Continuing Professional Development/Lecture Series committee, member of the Advanced Practice Provider Mentorship committee, and member of the Advanced Practice Provider Family Planning committee. She has a passion for teaching Nurse Practitioner students and enjoys playing a role in shaping future Nurse Practitioners. She has served as a preceptor to numerous Nurse Practitioner students over her years in practice as a NP. She also enjoys teaching nurses and provides lectures in her role of expertise for the nursing staff at her institution. She also enjoys educating her Advance Practice Provider colleagues and has created and delivered lectures for the Advanced Practice Provider Continuing Professional Development/Lecture Series at the institution she practices as a Nurse Practitioner. She is actively involved in serving the community as an Advanced Practice Provider. She has served as a guest lecturer for the University of Texas at Arlington Nurse Practitioner Program and presented at the High School/College Student Healthcare Symposium at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She has also presented for the Texas Nurses Student Association at Tarrant County College. She serves as Adjunct Faculty at Texas Woman's University in the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program.
