Srikanth Sridhar, MD, FASA
Srikanth Sridhar is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, Vice Chair for Quality and Safety, and Assistant Vice President for Healthcare Quality at the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He completed medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas and then continued into anesthesiology residency at McGovern Medical School. He has been on faculty in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine since 2012, and has established a robust quality and safety program focusing on perioperative issues both within his department as well as in the partnering hospital institution. His primary activities are in safety event analysis and process improvement, leadership and education in quality and safety, and institutional quality analytics and benchmarking. He has served on the ASA Committee on Patient Safety and Education, and currently serves on the ASA Quality Management and Department Administration Committee as well as serving as the Chair of the TSA Committee on Patient Safety and Quality.
