Personal cv and interests:
I am married to Dr. Tanja Jantzen, Professor of Medicine at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-University Greifswald and former German Triathlon Champion. We have two children, Jan-Frederik, born in 2006 and Lara Magdalena, born in 2008. Both attend the International School Hannover Region (ISHR), currently in grades 10 and 11. Lara is breast stroke swimming champion of Lower Saxony.
I am member and former President of the Lions-Club Hannover-Witzeaue. My hobbies – family permitting – are sports, history and travel. Sports include tennis, scuba diving, flying light aircraft, skiing and swimming.
