Stephanie Jones, MD
Stephanie Caprice Jones, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as Fellowship Director of the medical school’s Pain Management Fellowship Program.
Dr. Jones earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where she also completed a residency in anesthesiology. She received advanced training in pain management through a fellowship at the Stanford University Pain Management Center in Palo Alto, California.
Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Jones joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2010.
A pain management specialist, Dr. Jones frequently presents podium presentations to fellow physicians in educational settings and at professional conferences on medical management and interventional procedures to address conditions such as chronic back pain, opioid addiction, headache, neuropathic pain, and malignant bone pain. For three years in a row, she received the Faculty Recognition Award for her work training fellows in pain management.
She is the author of numerous articles, textbook chapters, and scholarly abstracts on pain management topics, including palliative care for cancer patients, musculoskeletal pain, and disability.
