Shannon Paquette, MD

Dr. Shannon Paquette was raised in Amherstburg, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology from Wayne State University, graduating summa cum laude and being inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She went on to receive her Medical Doctorate from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Paquette completed three years of general surgery residency before pursuing a year of research in team science and medical education under Dr. Philip Greilich. She then transitioned to anesthesiology residency, where she now serves as Chief Resident and is the immediate past Chair of the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists Resident Component.
