Beth Childs, BBA, MSF (Master of Science in Finance)

Beth Childs is a research fellow at UT Southwestern between her third and fourth year of medical school. She graduated summa cum laude from UT Austin in 2019 and earned a Master of Science in Finance in 2020, where she was named "Student of the Year." Prior to medical school, she worked in healthcare finance. Now pursuing dermatology, Beth’s research focuses on immune-mediated inflammatory dermatoses, including single-cell RNA sequencing in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and quality improvement studies with Drs. Heather Goff and Joseph Merola. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and is actively involved in mentorship and efforts to broaden access to medical education.
