Dr. Mariam Mir is Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Pathology at UT Southwestern and  Staff pathologist at VA North Texas Health Care System . She specializes in Cytopathology and Breast surgical pathology. 

Dr. Mir completed her medical school training  in Pakistan at Fatima Jinnah Medical College ,Lahore , followed by residency in Anatomic and Clinical pathology at Baylor University Medical center , Dallas. She complete fellowships in Cytopathology and Breast Pathology at  UT Southwestern. She joined Dallas VA in 2018 as Director of Cytopathology.  Dr Mir has special interest in resident education and serves as the VA Rotation director for anatomic pathology residency program.
