Amy Lo, MD
Amy Lo, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, Dr. Lo earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Harvard University before moving to Nashville for her medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She then returned to Harvard to complete her residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and then received her training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology through a fellowship at Tufts Medical Center, where she was Chief Fellow her final year.
Prior to joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021, Dr. Lo practiced clinical Gastroenterology as part of the faculty at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for 14 years.
Her main clinical interests include quality metrics in endoscopy, colon cancer screening, and general Gastroenterology.
