Barbara Haley, Doctorate Medicine and Fellow American College Physicians
Dr Haley completed her internship, residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Hematology/Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital. She joined the UTSW clinical faculty in 1999 and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Academic honors include the Sherry Wigley Crow Cancer Research Endowed Chair and the Charles Cameron Sprague Chair in Clinical Oncology. She was awarded the Patricia and William Watson Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine. Dr Haley has a special interest in breast cancer and participated as primary investigator in more than 30 clinical trials including cooperative group, pharmaceutical, PI led and Phase 1 studies. After retirement in 2021, she serves as adjunct professor in the Breast Cancer Clinics at Parkland Health and Hospital System.
