Glenda Delgado, MD
Glenda Delgado Ramos, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in treating breast cancer as well as improving cancer care in special populations.
Dr. Delgado Ramos earned her medical degree at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and gained advanced training in hematology and oncology through a fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Fellow.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
Dr. Delgado Ramos is a member of several professional associations, including the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology.
Her research interests are primarily focused on improving the cancer care and outcomes of special patient populations, including those of lower socioeconomic status, racial/ethnic minorities, and the elderly. She has published a number of peer-reviewed articles, case studies, and abstracts in journals related to her areas of expertise.
