Heather Wolfe, MD
Dr. Heather Wolfe an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern in the Division of Hematology & Oncology.
Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, Dr. Wolfe holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Biology from Indiana University. She earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Wolfe completed her internship and internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern, where she served as Chief Resident. She then gained advanced training through a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Duke University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Fellow. She returned to UT Southwestern in 2022 and serves as the Director of CLL Survivorship.
Her clinical interests include chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) and other indolent lymphomas. Dr. Wolfe’s research interests include the investigation of novel therapies, cancer survivorship, and improving quality of life in patients with CLL and lymphoma. Dr. Wolfe is active in several professional societies, including the Texas Medical Association and the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Wolfe interests outside of medicine include traveling, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
