Arthi Sridhar, MD

Dr. Sridhar is ab Assistant Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and specializes in the treatment of patients with thoracic malignancies. She earned her medical degree at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bengaluru, India. She completed a residency in internal medicine at UMass Chan Medical School - Baystate, where she served as Associate Chief Resident. She gained advanced training through a hematology and medical oncology fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where she was selected as Chief Hematology and Oncology Fellow. She also completed an advanced solid tumor oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Sridhar’s is involved in several clinical trials pertaining to novel agents in lung cancer care. Her research focuses on improving biomarker testing and perioperative management in lung cancer, and strategies to enhance diversity and equity in clinical trials. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in Nature Communications, Journal of Thoracic Oncology, Lung Cancer, and Clinical Lung Cancer. She is active in national committees through the American Society of Clinical Oncology and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology.
