Joseph Vento, MD, MS
Joseph Vento, M.D., M.S., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in genitourinary oncology and clinical informatics. Dr. Vento grew up in Austin, Texas, and did both his medical school and internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern. He received advanced training through a medical oncology fellowship and master’s degree in biomedical informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research interests include analysis of large cancer databases, implementation of provider and patient-facing decision support technologies, and renal cell carcinoma.
