Adriane dela Cruz, MD PhD
Dr. Adriane dela Cruz is a native Houstonian who completed her bachelor's in neuroscience at Amherst College in Amherst, MA. She completed her MD and PhD in neuroscience in the MD-PhD Combined Degree Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Her dissertation research was completed in the laboratory of Dr. Kathryn Cunningham, where she investigated the neuroscience of stimulant addictions in a preclinical model. She completed her residency in general psychiatry and fellowship in addiction psychiatry at UTSouthwestern, and she is currently an assistant professor in the department of psychiatry. She is actively engaged in patient care, research, and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
