Gloria Ayuba, DO, FACC, FASE
Dr Ayuba is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and specializes in cardiac imaging in structural heart intervention, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, cardiac computed tomography, and valvular heart disease.
Dr. Ayuba earned her medical degree at A.T. Still University in Missouri and completed her internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at William Beaumont Health in Michigan, where she served as Chief Resident and went on to complete a multimodality advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Board of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, the National Board of Echocardiography, and the Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, she joined the UT Southwestern staff in 2023.
Her research interests include structural echocardiography, valvular heart disease, and multimodal cardiac imaging in valve disease. She has delivered many presentations and has contributed to peer-reviewed articles, textbooks, and publications in her areas of expertise.
