Vaidehi S. Dedania, MD is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU Langone Health in New York City. She joined the faculty at NYU after completing her fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Uveitis at the University of Michigan - Kellogg Eye Center. She specializes in adult and pediatric vitreoretinal surgery. She is actively involved in resident and fellow education and is the Director of the Vitreoretinal Fellowship Program and continues to contribute to our field through her research in pediatric retinal diseases women’s ocular health. She was the lead ophthalmologist in the first ever successful whole eye transplant [and will be speaking to us today about her experience].
