Faye Tan, MD
Faye Chiou Tan, MD is a graduate of Princeton University and Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her PMR residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Her NIDILRR research fellowship was in Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She has been a Baylor PMR faculty member since fellowship and is currently a tenured Full Professor and Vice Chair faculty affairs at the H.Ben Taub PMR department at Baylor College of Medicine. She serves as EDX director of Harris Health System in an AANEM accredited lab. Dr. Tan is incoming President of AANEM having served on both the AANEM and ABEM boards. Recently, she has pursued her interests in Space Medicine with research in collaboration with Neuroscience section at NASA. She also lectures on academic promotions, career development in academia, and elimation of toxicity in the workplace. She has over 70 publications, 1 textbook, several grants. She sits on study section panels for DoD and NIDILRR.
