Dr. Mishal Mendiratta-Lala is a Clinical Professor of Radiology at Michigan Medicine, University of Michigan, where she also holds the prestigious Agree Family Endowed Professorship in Interventional Radiology Research. Dr. Mendiratta-Lala is a nationally recognized leader in abdominal imaging and interventional oncology. She serves as Co-Director of the Interventional Oncology Division and Director of Abdominal MRI. Her research focuses on liver cancer imaging and treatment response, with principal investigator roles on several NIH- and industry-sponsored trials, including the first U.S. clinical trial of non-invasive histotripsy ablation. Dr. Mendiratta-Lala is a key architect of the ACR LI-RADS Treatment Response Algorithm and serves on multiple national and international committees dedicated to advancing liver cancer diagnostics and therapies.  Her academic impact spans over 100 scientific presentations and publications, and she is a dedicated mentor and educator with extensive experience in faculty development and resident training.
