Samantha Zuckerman
Dr. Samantha Zuckerman is the Vice Chief of Breast Imaging and the Breast Imaging Fellowship Director at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Pennsylvania, her medical degree at Mount Sinai, and completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering, followed by residency and fellowship at Penn.
Dr. Zuckerman has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, with a focus on digital breast tomosynthesis and artificial intelligence in breast imaging. In addition to her research and leadership, Dr. Zuckerman earned a master’s in bioethics and serves as co-chair of the Ethics Committee at Penn. She is also the current Chair of the Society of Breast Imaging Fellowship Program Directors Committee.
Dedicated to advancing patient care, innovation, and education, Dr. Zuckerman is committed to training the next generation of breast imagers and to exploring the ethical and medicolegal dimensions of radiology.
