Peter Fox
At UT Health, Dr. Fox is a tenured, endowed professor, with faculty appointment in the Departments of Radiology, Neurology, Psychiatry and Physiology. At UT Health, Dr. Fox directs the Research Imaging Institute, an internationally known center of excellence for non-invasive mapping of brain function and brain disorders. Dr. Fox is co-developer of the BrainMap Database (brainmap.org; portal.brainmap.org) and associated software tools. Dr. Fox is co-founder of the international Organization for Human Brain Mapping and founding editor-in-chief of the journal, Human Brain Mapping. In this research area, he is prolifically published (> 600 peer-reviewed papers) and highly cited (>150,000 citations). Awards include: Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS); Presidential Research Scholar of UT Health San Antonio; Outstanding Neuroscientist from the International Society of Neuroscience; and Glass Brain Lifetime Achievement Award from the Organization for Human Brain Mapping.
