Dr. Bean is a native of Dallas, received her undergraduate degree from University of Texas at Austin, her master's degree from University of North Texas Health Science Center, and her medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, Texas. After residency, she completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Bean is board certified in Internal Medicine, a member of the Texas Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
Dr. Bean is married to Steven, a family medicine and sleep medicine physician, and they have a Maltipoo named Thorr. As time permits, Dr. Bean enjoys cooking, Zumba, reading, and traveling.
