Maliha Khan, MD, MPH
Dr. Maliha Khan is a resident physician in the Department of Family Medicine at UTSW. Dr. Khan earned her medical degree from the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School where she developed a strong interest in global health and completed a one month elective in internal medicine in Eldoret, Kenya through AMPATH.
Throughout residency, Dr. Khan has continued to foster her interest in global health by joining the global health track in residency as well as develop a passion for Palliative Medicine. Today's Grand Rounds presentation, titled "Palliative Medicine in Low Resource Settings" aims to merge these interest, offering new insights and clinical considerations relevant to these fields.
