Kunal Karamchandani, MD, FCCP, FCCM

Dr. Kunal Karamchandani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He completed his medical school training at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India followed by a residency in Anesthesiology at the All India Institute of Medical sciences, New Delhi, India. He then moved to the US where he completed his residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. He has been practicing both anesthesia and critical care in an academic setting for over 10 years and his research interests include enhancing patient outcomes in the ICU as well as in the perioperative setting. He is involved with various professional organizations and serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists (SOCCA), and is the Vice Chair of the SOCCA Education Committee.
