Dr. Mary Smith, MD MPH, is an Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine fellow at Stanford
University School of Medicine. She completed her Doctor of Medicine program and Masters of Public
Health at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health,
respectively while completing her Internal Medicine training and University of Texas Southwestern. Dr.
Smith academic interests focus on antibiotic stewardship, with a special interest in stewardship in the
outpatient setting and informatics based stewardship interventions
