Douglas Krakower, MD

Dr. Douglas Krakower is Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Research Scientist at The Fenway Institute, and Associate Professor in Medicine and Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on ways to optimize HIV prevention in healthcare and community settings with a focus on implementing HIV preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP). His clinical practice encompasses general infectious diseases and HIV treatment and prevention.
