Jennifer Perez, DMSc, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) licensed with the Texas Medical Board of Physician Assistants. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Perez then completed her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. After years of practice in psychometrics, she earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Health San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas in 2018. She then continued the path of lifetime learning, to further serve our patient population, by completing her Doctorate in Medical Sciences from the University of Lynchburg, Virginia. She currently serves the UT Southwestern community in her clinical role for the Department of Psychiatry and is the Department of Psychiatry's Advanced Practice Provider Manager. She is also the Co-Director of the Adult Psychiatry's Nationally Accredited Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor for UT Southwestern's School of Health Professions. Dr. Perez is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
