Joe Overman, MD, FAAD, FACMS, FASDS
Dr. Joe Overman is the owner and founder of Clearview Dermatology. He is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from theUniversity of Tennessee with a double major in chemistry and physics. He completed medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and a year of internal medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He then ventured out of the southeast for his dermatology residency at Boston University. In residency he was recognized as a talented surgeon. As a result of his passion for surgery and natural talent, he was offered a fellowship at one of the top Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowships in the United States at Oregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Overman has performed over 4000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions to date. Dr. Overman is also an expert in medical and cosmetic dermatology. He is double Board-Certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery
Dr. Overman spends his free time in the outdoors hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, skiing, and flying planes with his fiancé Riley and their two dogs, Koda and Banks. He is a strong believer in a patient-centered approach
