ivanshu Jain, Attending Psychiatrist, M.D. Addiction Psychiatrist
Born and raised in India. After completing medical school at M.P. Shah Medical School in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India, me and my wife decided to move to the United States to pursue my dream of becoming a psychiatrist. I completed my Psychiatry Residency at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. My primary reason for pursuing a career in psychiatry was my fascination of how the mind and thoughts influence our physical and mental health. To better understand the blooming addiction problem and society and expand my knowledge base, I pursued a Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry from UT Southwestern, Dallas, TX. Currently I working as an Attending Psychiatrist for an acute inpatient unit at Terrell State Hospital, Terrell, TX. My wife has supported me through this journey and today we are proud parents of two beautiful kids.
