Aaron Van Wright III, MD

Bio Information

Dr. Aaron Van Wright is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern.  He received his MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  He went on to complete a residency in General Psychiatry, as well as Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at UT Southwestern.  He is currently practicing at the Parkland Behavioral Health Center, in Dallas TX.  Dr Van Wright has an interest in chronic pain management in the psychiatric patient and has extensive experience in treating this population.  Prior to full time transitioning to the Parkland Behavioral Health, he was a staff psychiatrist at the Eugene McDermott Center for Pain Management at UT Southwestern and contributed a chapter to a 2020 textbook on pain management.
