Alex Loewen, MS

Alex Loewen, MS currently serves as the lead engineer at the Movement Science Lab in Frisco. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Southwestern Adventist University and his Masters of Science in Biomechanics from Texas Woman's University. His focal areas of research encompass adolescents diagnosed with femoroacetabular impingement, patellofemoral instability, or an anterior cruciate ligament tear. Furthermore, he has been committed to the advancement of injury risk prediction methodologies for a wide range of different sports. Lastly, he maintains a specific research interest in determining mechanical factors contributing to injuries among youth long-distance runners. His professional involvement includes the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine (PRiSM) society, where he is a strong contributor to the Motion Analysis Research Interest Group.
