Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Recognize the increased integration of clinical genetics in the evaluation and care of the breast cancer patient.
  • Describe syndromes associated with increased risk for breast cancer and other organ malignancies.
  • Understand available risk assessment tools and commercially available tests for gene testing.
  • Discuss clinical management of patients with a risk mutation.
