Overview
The purpose of this presentation is to familiarize the audience with the clinical manifestations of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of the pulmonary vascular manifestations of HHT and their treatment.
Target Audience
UT Southwestern faculty, fellows, residents and medical students, community physicians, nurse clinicians, physician assistants and nurses.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss the criteria used in the diagnosis of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
- Describe the clinical features of HHT.
- Oversee the diagnosis and management of the common pulmonary vascular manifestations of HHT.
