The purpose of this Grand Rounds presentation is to review the common dermatology issues that primary care doctors come across in day to day practice. Recognize and manage the most common dermatology problems and when to refer.

- Identify musculoskeletal problems; place appropriate referrals; order appropriate diagnostic tests when indicated; improve patient outcomes
- Recognize the most common rashes; association of rashes with chronic medical problems; judicious use of steroids; educate regarding proper referral for biopsy

- Identify newest guidelines in achieving targeted glycemic control in diabetic patients
