EM2004F "COVID-19: what are our therapeutic options?" (IM GR-040320)
The purpose of this lecture is to provide the current evidence of therapeutic options available for treatment for those with COVID-19. The lecture will also cover current clinical trials available at UT Southwestern and Parkland for COVID-19 patients.
Target Audience
UT Southwestern faculty, fellows, residents and medical students, community physicians, nurse clinicians, physician assistants and nurses.

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Understand the mechanism of action of IL-6 inhibitor.
- Understand the current evidence for use of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin for treatment of COVID-19.
- Understand the current evidence for the use of remedisvir for the treatment of COVID-19.
