Purpose and Overview

Review data of CV efficacy of GLP-1 RAs for persons with diabetes, diabetic kidney disease and overweight/obesity, and the impact of these data on contemporary care guidelines and patient management

UT Southwestern faculty, fellows, residents and medical students, community physicians, nurse clinicians, physician assistants and nurses.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Understand the efficacy of and indications for use of GLP-1 RAs in persons with type 2 diabetes
  • Understand the efficacy of and indications for use of GLP-1 RAs in persons with type 2 diabetes
