Maddie Kubiliun, MD, MPH
Maddie J. Kubiliun, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver transplantation.
Dr. Kubiliun earned her medical degree at the University of Miami. She performed both her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at UT Southwestern. She then completed an additional fellowship in transplant hepatology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
She also holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Florida.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.
Dr. Kubiliun is the author of research articles, abstracts, book chapters, and presentations related to her areas of expertise. She is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological Association.
Her clinical and research interests include fatty liver disease, liver transplantation, and end-stage liver disease.
