Objectives:

1. Define and discuss the scope of MASLD
2. Review methods to risk stratify patients with MASLD
3. Discuss treatment strategies and potential/newly approved pharmacotherapies for MASLD

   Bio:

   Dr. Maddie Kubiliun received her undergraduate degree and master’s in public health at the University of Florida. She returned to her hometown of Miami to earn her medical degree at the University of Miami. She performed both her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at UT Southwestern. She then completed an additional fellowship in transplant hepatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. She also serves as associate program director for the internal medicine residency program, and focuses her hepatology practice on individuals with steatotic liver disease, chronic liver disease, and end stage liver disease.
