Objectives:
The participant will be able to:
Describe why clinicians may use VO2max in both general populations and in athletes
Describe the physiology and calculations used to determine a VO2max
Describe methods to obtain and report a VO2max in a clinical and non-clinical setting
Provide some methods to improving VO2max as a proxy to improve general health
Describe the limitations to using a VO2max
Describe the current evolution with projected advancements in VO2max testing and utilization.
