Objectives: 

The participant will be able to

1.Define what a home visit is and explain the utility of this form of health care delivery.

2.Discuss the historical and global context of the physician home visit.

3.Explain the impact of social determinants of health on patient care in the context of a home visit.

4.Describe opportunities to get involved with the home visit research project and demonstrate awareness about the opportunity to provide home visits beyond residency training.
